Urvashi Dhanorkar is an actress of local TV who has been granted bail today from a local court in Mumbai. She was arrested today under the act of child abuse. This bail has been granted on the technical grounds to local TV actress Urvashi Dhanorkar and a bond of Indian Rs. 10,000 has also be furnished by her as per the court orders.

Urvashi Dhanorkar was charged today to physically abuse her maid of 10 year old girl. The girl was brought by the actress in pretext of education and adoption. If she was proven guilty then an imprisonment of up to three years may be faced by her according to the child abuse act. But local court is eligible to grant the bail in these kinds of case in which the sentence is not more than three years maximum, according to the directions of Bombay High Court.

A defense lawyer who was representing the local TV actress Urvashi Dhanorkar has strongly denied the involvement of her client in any child abuse activity as she was arrested today morning for physically abusing her maid of 10 year old girl but the swelling and black marks that can be seen on the face of child are because of bee stings and the burn scars on her forearms were only because of falling boiling water on her arms, said by the lawyer.

Urvashi Dhanorkar was arrested under the Child Labour Act and Juvenile Justice Act and she was arrested after the confirmation of medical reports of the child in which it was said that Urvashi Dhanorkar was responsible for physically abusing her 10 year old maid.
