Solano Stroll is the largest street festival of the Easy Bay and Professionals, Restaurants and Merchants as well as Berkeley CA and the twin cities of Albany have hosted this festival since 1974. An open invitation has always been offered by The Solano Avenue Merchants Association to every one to come and see that why the Solano Avenue has become such a magnificent place.

More than five hundred non-profit organization, vendors, entertainers and food booths, the guest of the event and participants visit the Solano Stroll street festival from across the California as well as from some neighboring states. The festival will start at 8 am at Veterans Memorial Park in Albany and the starting will be with the traditional pancake breakfast.

This traditional breakfast will be offered by the Berkeley Lions Club and then later on the Stroll booths and Solano Avenue businesses will be opened at 10 am. One of the 75 entertainers, 120 juried arts and crafters, 50 food booths, wacky art cars, games and 150 community organizations can be visited by everyone after the initial parade.

Best in dance, performances and local music can also be heard by all the visitors in addition to the absolutely stunning costumes from across the globe. A special area for the kids is set that included carnival games, giant slides, jugglers, clowns, face painters, stilt walkers and magicians as Solano Stroll 2009 Street festival is a family entertainment event.
