Nick Nabavian is a zoning official of the Great Neck Village who offered a ride to a teenage girl outside the mall of Valley Stream but he took that teenage girl to his house instead of dropping her to the committed place and tried to rape her, said by the Nassau police on Monday. Nick Nabavian is a 45 year old man living in the Great Neck Village.

Nick Nabavian is also the member of Zoning Board of Appeals of the Great Neck Village. According to the police authorities, he has been arrested on the complaint of that teenage girl early Sunday at his home. Leave of absence will be asked to take from the zoning board of the Great Neck Village to Nick Nabavian, said by the Mayor Ralph J. Kreitzman on Monday.

Allegations on Nick are very serious and we are deeply concerned for the safety of the victim teenage girl and also our all efforts and thoughts are with her and her family at the moment, said by the Mayor Kreitzman in a statement issued on the Monday. He added that on behalf of the village, Nick Nabavian will be asked to take leave from his Zoning Board position until the case has been resolved.

A seventeen year old girl was offered a ride to her friend’s home by the Nick Nabavian from Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream on August 2 but instead of dropping her to the desired palace, Nick took that girl into his residence and had sexual activity against her will with the victim.
