James Traficant, former representative of Ohio has been released from the prison of Minnesota on Wednesday after being served around seven year punishment for racketeering and bribery. Traficant, a Democrat of nine-term from Youngstown stepped into a cab after leaving the Federal Medical Center in Rochester.

While sitting into the cab, a question of a shouting reporter was ignored by James Traficant. He was wearing white shorts, T-shirt, white socks of knee-high at that time with an all time famous wild hair into pulled back style. Three years of probation will also be faced by him. It is still to be announced by him that he will return back to his public life or he will get his retirement.

James Traficant 68, well known for his wild hair and was one of the most colorful members of the Congress with his brief speeches on the floor. Traficant was convicted in 2002 in a harsh trial of racketeering and bribery for accepting taking kickbacks from the staff members and bribers from businessmen.

He was then disqualified by the Congress and became the second member of the House to be expelled for unethical conduct after the Civil War. In 2004 James Traficant was transferred to the Rochester facility where specialized medical services are provided to the prisoners. Traficant will report regularly to the probation officer during his probation period of three years in which getting permission from traveling outside the northern Ohio is also included.
