Genevieve Gorder was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 26, 1974. Gorder is having two professional careers in her life, one is entertainment industry and the other one is Interior Decoration. Yes, she is an Interior Decorator as well as an American Television host. Currently there is one show running on the HGTV which is “Dear Genevieve” and obviously as clear by the name, the host of the show is Genevieve Gorder.

She completed her high school education from the Minneapolis South High School and was a soccer player at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Genevieve Gorder completed her graduation from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan with a B.F.A in graphic design. Although every one knows her as a interior designer on the TV but the fact is that the necessary qualification to be called as an interior designer is not with Genevieve Gorder.

Because Gorder does not hold any specialist degree in interior designing or even does not the designation of National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). Genevieve Gorder was a commentator on the series “Sex in the 90’s” presented on MTV before being known as a decorator. She has also appeared as one of the original decorators on “Trading Spaces” which was the TLC’s hit series.
