Mary Jo Kopechne was born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on 26th July 1940. She was a political campaign specialist, teacher and secretary. She was died on July 18, 1969 at the age of 28 in a car accident on Chappaquiddick Island. Ted Kennedy, Senator of the United States was the driver of that car.
