“Man vs Wild” is an adventure series of Discovery Channel which is hosted by the host Bear Grylls. One episode of the series was filmed in March at the Little River Canyon which will be premiered at 9pm tonight on Wednesday 20th August, 2009 on Discovery Channel. Producers were helped by the Tommy Fell of Alabama Film Office to research the Alabama area.
This area of Alabama has been highlighted as the natural beauty of the state in a remote wilderness location. After exploring the exact location across Alabama, Little River Canyon was determined as the place having all elements that were seeking by the producers of the show, said by Tommy Fell. He added that viewers will see the place during the premier on Wednesday night.
Tommy Fell further said that filming process of this episode of “Man vs Wild” would not be possible without the help of Israel and Craig as production equipment and vast knowledge of the Alabama area was provided by them. Survival skills of the Bear Grylls were polished by him being a young adult member of the British Special Forces.
At the age of 23, Bear Grylls was the youngest person to climb on the Mount Everest. Any adventure is not too extreme, said by the Bear Grylls on the basis of his experiences on “Man vs Wild” as he was dropped in each episode into some of the most intolerant regions of the worlds with a camera, clothes on his back and with a bottle of water.
