Akshata Murthy ties the knot with Rishi Sunak who is her Stanford classmate on Sunday 30th August at the Hotel Leela Palace Kempinski, Banglore. It was a well attended ceremony. Akshata Murthy is a 29 year old beautiful young woman and daughter of notorious Indian personality Mentor Narayan Murthy who is the Chief and founder of the Infosys.

This three hour wedding function started with traditional Indian wedding style and later on lunch of typical vegetarian Karnataka was also served the guests. Splendid ghagra choli of orange color was dressed up by the Akshata Murthy as a wedding dress and Rishi Sunak, her husband was in a dapper suit. Guests were welcome by these two at the Grand Ballroom.

Personal and warmth attentions were given to all the guests of this wedding ceremony by the Murthy family. Only close friends and family members were invited to attend the Akshata Murthy’s wedding ceremony as there were around only six hundreds guest. Narayan Murthy reached the scene at around 3:15 pm when all the proceedings, prayers and lunch got over.

The wedding ceremony of the Akshata Murthy was initially planned to keep quiet and away from the media by the family but then later on Sudha Murthy invited the journalists to taste their simple lunch but the offer was declined by most of the media persons as they were satisfied with their photographs.
